Charles IV has been czech king and Roman Emperor. He was born in 14. May 1316 in Prague. Charles IV established the Charles Bridge, Charles University, Karlstejn, St. Vitus Catedral etc. In funeral sermon in year 1378 was named from his friend Professor Vojtěch Raňkův - "father of the country".

Charles IV - Czech King, Roman Emperor He was first-born son of king Jan Lucembursky and Elizabeth Premyslovna (Vaclav´s II. Daughter). His first name was Vaclav and name Charles he obtained on the church confirmation after his Frech godfather King Charles IV the beautiful. On attedance at court in France, he had visited lectures at Paris Artist Faculty, Pierre de Rosiere was his teacher and an advisor.


Charles IV - Czech King, Roman Emperor In years 1330 – 1333 he administred dependencies in north italy that belonged to his father. In 1333 czech king Jan Lucembursky entrusted Charles IV with administration of Czech and Morava.


In 1346 Charles IV was crowned to be Czech and Germany king because his father was killed in Kresčak. On The Roman Emperor was Charles crowned at St Peter´s Basilica in 1355. In 1378 Charled IV died and his Czech Roalty inherited his son Vaclav IV (from his third marriage with Anna Svidnicka).


Charles has done very much for Czech Country so mr. Vojtěch Ranku from Jezov in funeral sermon named charles as "Father of Counry". At strengthening of religion and ghostly life he established in year 1344 Prague Archbishopric and in year 1348 established Emauzy Monastery in New Town Prague for monastic from Slovan liturgy.


Charles IV establishing Prague Charles University (on the first script is date 7.4.1348) with artist, medic, law and theology faculty and made the most important thing for intelligence development in Czech Country (and country around too).


In year 1348, Charles called Matyas from Aras to Prague to build St. Vitus Cathedral and Karlštejn - religious architecture – dominant of the Czech Country.
